2020 Virtual VBS! Jesus’ Instruction Book of Life: We will hold a virtual VBS on Weekdays starting on July 13th and finishing on August 14th on our private Facebook page “St. Matthew Lutheran Church Sunday School”. Sunday School & Confirmation Class
We hold Sunday School classes for ages pre-k through high school from Rally Day in September through the end of May each year. Classes start at 9:45am and end at 11am. There are three Sunday school classes: pre-k and kindergarten (ages 4 through 6), 1st thru 3rd grades, and 4th thru 6th grades. At 7th grade, the student will enter the two-year Confirmation program. After being Confirmed, a student is welcome to join us on Sunday mornings for the post confirmation group gathering.
Bible Studies
We conduct many Bible studies during the course of each year. Please check with the study leader for start and stop dates. Most groups will break for summer.
Monday: Monday Night Bible Study at 7pm in the Adult Bible Study room
Tuesday: Tuesday Morning Bible Study at 10:30am in the Pastor’s office
Thursday: Journey Sisters Bible Study meets on the first and third Thursdays at 7pm, the Mary and Martha Bible Study meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7pm, and the Men’s Bible Study group meets on every Thursday at 7pm.
Friday: Devotional Bible Study meets on Friday nights at 7pm in the Adult Bible Study room. Currently we are studying the Psalms as interpreted by Martin Luther in his “Psalm by Psalm” wwwotional book.
Saturday: Men’s Bible Study group meets on Saturday mornings at 8am in the Adult Bible Study room.

The Luther League Youth Program
Membership the our Luther League becomes automatic when you enter into Confirmation class – visit the Youth tab for more information on our youth group and activities.
Cecil Tennant Scholarship Program
Scholarships for Post High School Education. Applications are published every year in June with the awards being granted in mid-July.
Educational Activities
Dottie Glenn Memorial Lecture Series, Dr. Paul Maier Seminars, “Sundays With…” Series on pertinent faith topics discussed after the second service on the designated Sundays between October and April of each year, Lutheran Lay Renewal, The Navigators.
